The evening begins with a wine tasting experience from 5:30–6:00 pm, followed by a relaxed, hands-on Paint Night Workshop from 6:00–8:00 pm.

During the workshop, you’ll create your choice of a wood sign, serving tray or a double-sided centrepiece box, perfect for styling your dining table, entryway, or coffee table.

Our instructor will guide you step-by-step through the painting and stenciling process using vinyl stencils. The projects will be pre-stained in brown stain. You’ll select your design at registration and customize the design with paint colours that suit your home décor—no experience needed, just come ready to sip, paint, and have fun.

Welcome! Join us for a Sip & Paint night where you’ll create a fully functional clock, Plank Wood Sign or a Serving Tray  while adding your own personal touch with colours and designs of your choice.

Come with friends or on your own — everyone is welcome! Our workshops are designed to be easy, relaxed, and stress-free. We provide all the supplies and step-by-step guidance, so even if you think you’re “not crafty at all,” you’ll be amazed at what you can create.

Let’s sip, paint, and enjoy a fun night together while making a finished product you’ll be proud to display at home or to gift.

Registration fees are non-refundable. If unforeseen circumstances arise and you are unable to attend the workshop you are registered for, we suggest you find a friend or family member to come in your place so that you do not lose your registration fee.  If you cannot attend the workshop and give us 48-hour notice you will be able to attend the same workshop and complete the same project within 90 days at one of our Saturday Crafternoons or Drop In or we can offer to pack your project as a DIY Kit and you will be able to complete your project at home.

Furniture Painting Workshop

Want to paint a piece of furniture but not sure where to start? Bring a small piece to this hands-on workshop and learn how to prep, paint, and protect it using Fusion Mineral Paint.

You’ll leave with a transformed piece in the colour of your choice, plus the skills and supplies to keep creating!

Details:

• When: 11 – 2 pm (bring snacks or drinks if you’d like). There is a coffee shop and bakery next door as well:)

• Where: 542 Lawrence Ave, Kelowna

• Cost: $140 per person ($75 for the class and + $65 for painting supplies)

• Includes: Pint of Fusion Mineral Paint (your colour choice) + Paint Kit (1” brush, roller, sanding pad, tray)

• Group Size: Max 6 participants.

IMPORTANT! Prep your piece before class: Clean with Fusion’s TSP Alternative (or TSP, rinsed), remove hardware, and sand with 220 grit to de-gloss the piece of furniture.

To make sure you finish during the workshop, please bring a small, easy-to-carry piece—something that fits in a car seat, like a nightstand, small table or shelf. Join us for a fun and creative night out in support of the Spartan Wrestling Club Kelowna! This fundraiser helps cover the cost of athlete training and travel to tournaments.

Hosted at Rustic Chalk Decor DIY Studio in downtown Kelowna, you’ll create a beautiful wood sign using vinyl stencils. Choose your design and colours, and leave with something you’ll be proud to display at home. No experience needed — just come ready to relax and create!

Join our Chunky Blanket workshop at our DIY Studio Downton Kelowna and create a cozy blanket.

Our instructor will guide you step-by-step through using soft, oversized yarn and finger-knitting to create a luxurious chunky blanket — no experience needed.

You’ll have up to 3 hours of hands-on knitting and most people finish their blanket during the workshop. If you don’t, you’ll head home with all your materials plus a video tutorial so you can easily complete it at your own pace.

By the end of the night, you’ll have a beautiful, cozy blanket to take home and a fun holiday memory with your team!
